We build compilers, runtimes and the layers underneath them from scratch. That gives us the ability to make our work inspectable and self-hostable, and to keep it honest about what it does and does not do.

That principle extends to how we document our work. With pcc, we aim to label what each mode proves — and what it does not. We don't claim what a test can't demonstrate.
